Richard L. Ramsay is a certified mediator and arbitrator. Rick began his mediation/arbitration career at ADR, Inc. in 2010, and in June of 2016, opened RAMSAY MEDIATION & ARBITRATION. While his offices are in Little Rock, he travels across the state at no charge. He has mediated cases all over Arkansas, in Texas and in Tennessee.
For almost 40 years, Rick has had an active trial practice with the main focus being commercial litigation, representing individuals, companies, and lenders. Rick still maintains his trial practice and that experience as a trial lawyer serves him well in his mediation practice. As a consequence of his vast business law experience, he has developed a “niche” as Arkansas’ preeminent commercial litigation mediator.
His mediation caseload includes personal injury, bankruptcy, environmental law, contract disputes, employment law, securities, and business litigation of all types. Rick is a frequent lecturer on a wide variety of mediation issues and has developed a checklist for parties to mediation which has proved very beneficial to his clientele. He has distinguished himself from others in the field by his preparation – knowing the case and the relevant law far prior to the date of mediation.

“I thoroughly enjoyed working with you last week and was not exaggerating when I said you would be among the top mediators in Tampa. You did a great job, and we owe our success to you. Thanks again.”
“Thank you for your good work yesterday which has allowed a burden to have been lifted…as far as recommendations go you are at the top of our list.”
“I have used Rick on several recent very difficult cases. I wanted a mediator who had the perspective and persuasive ability of a trial lawyer and Rick did not disappoint. He was well prepared for each case and but for his strong presence and abilities the cases would not have settled.”
“Rick is a top choice of mediators. He is always well prepared. He works hard to educate the parties and bring about resolution. Rick is an involved mediator, and he is particularly helpful in complex or difficult cases.”
