Richard L. Ramsay is a certified mediator and arbitrator. Rick began his mediation/arbitration career at ADR, Inc. in 2010, and in June of 2016, opened RAMSAY MEDIATION & ARBITRATION. While his offices are in Little Rock, he travels across the state and the region with no charge for travel time. He has mediated cases all over Arkansas, in Texas, and in Tennessee.

For over 40 years, Rick has had an active trial practice with the main focus being commercial litigation, representing individuals, companies, and lenders. Rick still maintains his trial practice and that experience as a trial lawyer serves him well in his mediation practice. As a consequence of his vast business law experience, he has developed a “niche” as Arkansas’ preeminent commercial litigation mediator.

His mediation caseload includes contract disputes, employment law, securities, personal injury, bankruptcy, environmental law, and business litigation of all types. Rick is a frequent lecturer on a wide variety of mediation issues and has developed a checklist for parties to mediation which has proved very beneficial to his clientele. He has distinguished himself from others in the field by his preparation – knowing the case and the relevant law far in advance of the date of mediation.
